Must Eat: Grub "the Happiest Place on Earth!"

After hiking Runyon Canyon, we decided to try out a new spot for brunch.  My friend Meg had raved about the brunch she had at Grub the weekend prior, and our foodie friends S & A also gave their approval. The Slogan at Grub is "the happiest place on earth!"

We were not disappointed.  Everything we tried was delicious.  My brother in law Kevin declared it the his favorite meal in LA (and we had taken him to some of our other favorites including the Penthouse, Sugarfish, Gjelina, Casa Sanchez...)

The Blueberry Lemonade was incredibly refreshing, full fresh fruity goodness.  We were pleasantly surprised to learn that they provide free refills!
Below is a photo of the "Friggin' Amazin' French Toast".
It is described as "Croissants coated with our Cinnamon Vanilla batter and cooked to golden brown, served with Maple Syrup, Pecans, Raspberry Butter and Seasonal Fresh Fruit.  Wow.
Berry Berry Good Pancakes (voted best berry pancakes by Pocketchange!) Blueberry & Almond granola pancakes with candied ginger, maple syrup and raspberry butter. These were surprisingly light!
This is what they call "crack bacon". It is pretty addictive, I must say...
Our waitress recommended the mushroom, spinach, brie cheese, roasted onions and white truffle oil scramble. It was an excellent choice.
We've heard good things about the mac and cheese but apparently they don't have it for brunch. Guess  that gives us a reason to come back again another time.... :)
