Must Eat: Roy's in Waikiki Beach, Oahu, Hawaii (branches also in LA!)

Yes, FJLA is in HAWAII!!! :) One of the (many) perks of living in Los Angeles, is how easy it is to vacation in Hawaii.  In less than 6 hours, we made it to Oahu on a non-stop flight. We are here to relax, and of course, to take in some good eats and sights while we're here!

Our first dinner in Oahu was at Roy's. This came highly recommended by one of my friends. He raved about the one in Kauai, but we're in Oahu and this is only one block away from our hotel, so we decided to check it out last night.
We started with a Mai Tai which was delicious and refreshing. In fact, all of the drinks at Roy's were quite enjoyable. After this, we tried the Roy's Mar-tini and the Mango-tini, both which were also delightful!
They provide complimentary appetizer of seasoned edamame!
We ordered two special rolls - the Rainbow Roll and a Poke tuna one - A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!  Our friends mainly got special rolls for their dinner and were impressed with them as well!  J and I agree that these were some of the best specialty sushi rolls we have had in a long time!
Roy's Trio - which included Roy's Original Hawaiian Blackened Island Ahi, Charred Japanese Misoyaki Butterfish (our fave!) and Hibachi Style Grilled Atlantic Salmon
