Must Eat: Gjelina for brunch, lunch, dinner and late night.... :)

Moroccan Baked Eggs with Merguez, Chili, Tomato Sauce, Cilantro and Spiced Yogurt

Gjelina is probably our favorite restaurant in LA. This is a big statement to make in a place where there are so many good eats.
We find ourselves going there again and again, for brunch or dinner or for late night. We have sat inside at the communal tables and have sat outside on the patio. Every time we have gone, we've enjoyed our favorite dishes (brussel sprouts, egg sandwich for brunch), but also tried something new. Pretty much everything we've eaten has been fantastic. The ambience is quite marvelous as well.

Although we enjoy going there for dinner, we LOVE going there for brunch.  They have one item on their menu that is probably the best thing I've ever eaten for brunch (other than what J cooks for me :) - the fried egg sandwich. YUM.

Here are some other things we ordered at our most recent trip to Gjelina.
Their scones are amazing. My favorite scones in LA. (Blueberry and Brown sugar)

The chickpea stew is so hearty and flavorful. Great for vegetarians (as well as non-vegetarians like me!)
